EXPRESSO was founded in 1953 in Germany when it started with the production of transport equipment as “EXPRESSO Spezialgeräte”.
The original business involved manufacturing hand trucks for barrels. The product range was soon extended with numerous new devices and specialized accessories.
As a result, business has expanded to a variety of branches.

In 1967 came the breakthrough: The first aluminium hand truck based on a modular system. The product was welcomed throughout Europe.
Soon after, the range of transport equipment has been extended with docking plates, luggage trolleys for airports and railway stations, lifting aids and drive technology devices.
Today, EXPRESSO is one of the world's market leaders in the area of transport equipment, and rapidly moving upwards.
